What article on docs.github.com is affected?

Using the activity view to see changes to a repository

Source file:
content/repositories/viewing-activity-and-data-for-your-repository/using-the-activity-view-to-see-changes-to-a-repository.md

What part(s) of the article would you like to see updated?

  • Fix step numbering for clarity (current file uses repeated '1.' which can be confusing for readers and editors).
  • Streamline instructions using clear, concise steps and bullets for multi-part actions.
  • Improve clarity, tone, and active voice throughout the article.
  • Add a note that some activity details may not be visible to all users (e.g., private repo activity limited to collaborators).
  • Move examples (such as available activity types) into bullet lists for better readability.
  • Suggest updates to image alt text/captions to improve accessibility.
  • See the attached proposed markdown revision for the entire file.

Additional information

Motivation: The doc can be easier to maintain, more understandable for end users, and more accessible for all audiences if formatting and content structure are improved.

See the attached file for the proposed markdown revision.

This issue is based on a thorough review of the current live page.

If maintainers prefer, I am ready to submit a PR for the suggested changes from my fork (massagevida09-hub/docs) on branch docs/activity-view-improvements.
